Jordan Chan
Physiotherapist
Jordan is a physiotherapist with a strong background in sport, strength training and exercise-based rehabilitation. As a former professional footballer (soccer) and personal trainer, he brings a practical understanding of what it takes to recover from injury, rebuild physical capacity and get back to performing at your best.
He enjoys working with active people of all ages — from athletes dealing with sporting injuries through to people who simply want to move better, become stronger and return to the activities they enjoy. Jordan’s experience includes treating a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions and helping people recover from injury, build strength and return to the activities they enjoy.
Jordan takes an active and individualised approach to physiotherapy. Rather than simply treating the painful area, he works to understand what is limiting each person and develops a clear rehabilitation plan around their goals. Treatment may incorporate hands-on therapy, exercise rehabilitation, strength training, movement retraining and education, with the aim of helping clients not only feel better, but become stronger and more confident in what their body can do. His additional experience coaching both individuals and small groups gives him a particularly strong understanding of how to progress someone from rehabilitation back into regular training.
Sport has been a major part of Jordan’s life. He attended Singapore Sports School, represented Singapore through the National Football Academy from Under-12 to Under-18 level, and later played professional football for Young Lions and Hougang United. He also represented Singapore at Under-21 and Under-23 level, travelling internationally to compete throughout Asia and the Middle East.
That combination of physiotherapy, coaching and high-level sporting experience makes Jordan a great fit for people who want rehabilitation to go beyond simply settling their symptoms. His goal is to help people understand their injury, rebuild their strength and progressively return to sport, training and everyday life with confidence.
Outside of physiotherapy, Jordan continues to enjoy sport and training, particularly football, basketball, badminton, table tennis and running. He is also a keen musician and plays piano, guitar and drums.
