Adaptive Physiotherapy & Massage is looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Remedial Massage Therapist to join our multidisciplinary clinic and training facility in Booragoon.

This is a flexible contractor opportunity for someone who enjoys helping people relieve pain, move better, recover from injury and maintain their long-term health and wellbeing.

You will work alongside Physiotherapists, an Exercise Physiologist, Strength Coaches and other Remedial Massage Therapists who care deeply about their clients and support each other as a team.

About the Opportunity

This is a contractor role with flexible hours that can be discussed around your availability.

Ideally, we are looking for someone available for at least 10–15 hours per week, although greater availability is welcome.

Evening and Saturday availability would be particularly desirable due to client demand.

Remuneration is based on a per-treatment contractor structure, with protection built in to provide additional security during quieter shifts.

The role may suit either an experienced therapist looking to join an established multidisciplinary environment or a newer graduate who would benefit from mentoring and team support.

What You’ll Be Doing

As part of the Adaptive team, you will:

• Provide high-quality remedial massage and soft-tissue treatments
• Help clients manage pain, muscular tension, restricted movement and sporting injuries
• Support clients with recovery, rehabilitation and physical performance
• Conduct appropriate client assessments before treatment
• Maintain accurate and professional clinical notes
• Develop meaningful relationships with clients who value your expertise
• Communicate with our Physiotherapists, Exercise Physiologist and Strength Coaches when collaborative care would benefit the client
• Contribute to a positive, supportive and professional clinic environment

Our clients include active professionals, recreational athletes, people managing persistent musculoskeletal issues and those seeking regular treatment to support their health, training and recovery.

About You

The successful applicant will have:

• A Diploma of Remedial Massage 
• Current First Aid and CPR certification
• Professional indemnity and public liability insurance
• Membership with an appropriate professional association
• Eligibility for health fund provider numbers, or be in the process of obtaining them
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• A professional and reliable approach
• A genuine desire to help people
• A willingness to work collaboratively as part of a team
• An interest in health, movement, training, sport, rehabilitation or wellbeing

You should also be enthusiastic, motivated and committed to providing a high standard of care and customer service.
