Veterans Exercise Programs (DVA)
One of the wonderful services that is available to our veterans is ongoing Exercise Physiology treatment – where clinically necessary. Any veteran with a DVA white or gold card may be eligible for Exercise Physiology services.
If you have suffered any injury whilst serving it is very likely that you will be eligible under this scheme.
Exercise Physiology to Rehabilitate Old Injuries
Exercise Physiology can be effective in rehabilitating your old injuries, aches and pains including
- Neck Pain
- Shoulder Pain
- Low Back Pain
- Hip Pain
- Knee Pain
- Ankle or Foot Pain
Exercise Physiology services have been approved under the DVA program for gold card holders, and some white card holders.

Exercise Physiology can be effective in creating a healthy lifestyle and to give strategies to aid in the treatment of chronic disease & condition.

Exercise Physiology & PTSD
Exercise Physiology can be effective in improving health conditions that may be associated with PTSD including

Exercise Physiology
Entitled DVA clients may be referred for safe and clinically effective Exercise Physiology treatment by their general practitioner on a valid D904 referral form. Upon diagnosis and referral of a specific condition, DVA will pay for the clinically necessary treatments.
Gold and White card holders are entitled to clinically necessary treatment covered by DVA’s health care arrangements for all health conditions. DVA Gold and White Cards are accepted as payment upon a GP referral.
